NBA and its No Tolerance Rule

It is the first week of a new NBA season. I have watched a handful of games. I found something that made me sit up and take notice. Referees blow the whistle and players just keep walking away. No Protests, no hands in the air or no giving the referees a look. Then I realized that the NBA had introduced the No Tolerance Rule this year. Good job Mr. Stern, I say to myself.

Standard Chartered May Sell India Asset Management Business

Oct. 3 (Bloomberg) -- Standard Chartered Plc may sell its asset management company in India, which oversees more than $3 billion, as it recasts operations in its biggest market after Hong Kong and South Korea.

The London-based lender, which makes two-thirds of its profit in Asia, is evaluating offers from potential buyers, said Neeraj Swaroop, the head of Standard Chartered's business in India.
